I've been meaning to revisit Let's Scare Jessica to Death. Thankfully many of Shout"s releases have been making their way to Amazon Prime.

It's long been a favorite of mine. Don't expect it to hit a lot of traditional horror-movie beats, though, if it's one you're not that familiar with. It might best be described as a modern retelling of Carmilla in the style of a slow-burn psychological thriller, and it's more atmospheric, eerie, and sad than it is scary.

Gerry is also coming in January— wasn’t this a Miramax title? Do they have access to that cache now?

Maybe, but it's also possible Miramax's rights expired (they only handled the video releases on behalf of Thinkfilm, which didn't have a video arm) and Shout! acquired them afterwards. It's already on Amazon Prime Video with Shout! listed as the studio; no idea how long that's been the case.

I seem to remember some of Thinkfilm's releases being put out by New Line Home Video

Has there ever been a comparison between the Eureka and Shout editions of Blacula? I always assumed Eureka's would look slightly better based on label history but never read anything definitive.

I don't believe there would be much. AFAIK, the HD masters used by Eureka are the only available ones. Shout released their set 6 months after Eureka, so I'd suppose they share the same sources. Both are quite light on extras, but they differ : Eureka offers trailers, film introductions by Kim Newman + a booklet, Shout has an audio commentary by David Walker, an interview with Richard Lawson and trailers. Both releases have all their content on a single BD-50 and IBF did Eureka's encoding.

Blu-ray.com has the final specs for The Anne Bancroft Collection and it appears that The Graduate is just a direct port of Criterion's Blu-ray

Question: UCLA is/has been working on a restoration of Murders in the Rue Morgue, which I recall reading was due in 2020. I also recall reading that the Shout Factory Murders in the Rue Morgue, scheduled for a December release, is, in fact, that restoration. You would think (or is it hope?) so. But I've seen nothing on the Shout Factory announcements that indicates this. Is there any definite word on this?

Rasputin the Mad Monk (1966) and X the Unknown (1956) are the latest Hammer titles to be released through the Scream Factory line; coming in February with special features to be announced later.

The Wizard coming out in March

No word yet on whether it’s a new transfer or not (please be new). Extras not detailed either but director Todd Holland revealed on Instagram that he filmed an interview and recorded an audio commentary. They’re also offering a poster of the cute new cover art.

10th - Bug (1975), Inseminoid
31st - Bones (don't know if this is a new Warner deal or a holdover from their previous deal)

For a split second I was like, yay they've got the William Friedkin film with Ashley Judd and Michael Shannon until I saw the year! Is no one ever going to rescue this film??

That Bug is with Lionsgate in the US and UK. So no chance of a Blu-ray from any of the boutique labels.

Thought for sure it would end up with Criterion at some juncture.
