Did River of Fundament ever get pirated and make its way to the back channels?
If it has I never found it, at least I have the memory of seeing it once...

Thanks for sharing that John Cope, I am definitely making plans to go to New Haven to see this, as an added bonus - I’ll be in the greatest pizza city in the world.

Oh look it's that John Woo knockoff from the 90s we didn't want, but need.
Ang Lee, what has become of you...

The de-aging for Smith looks great, which raises the question of why everything else looks awfully diffused. Does anyone else see that, or are my eyes just not working like they used to?

I dunno if it's diffused so much as video-like, which is a side effect of the fact that it's being shot at 120 fps.

Bad VFX+ shooting at 120 FPS. And no you're not the only one. I mean I just went through his snore fest that is Ride With the Devil, and it's been a few years since I liked one of his films, so this isn't even getting my Goodwill.

Is this like a sequel to Jeannette but without being a musical?

US trailer for Gabriel Abrantes and Daniel Schmidt's Diamantino;

And the Portuguese trailer, featuring an utterly charming commentary by the titular character.

Kleber Mendonça Filho and Juliano Dornelles’ Bacurau, which is debuting today in Cannes. Looks like quite a departure from Mendonça Filho’s previous efforts...
