Hey, when this comes out it’ll have been nearly 20 years since the last direct sequel! How long do you expect them to sit on valuable intellectual property with a fan base eager for more?

...

...I’m sorry, misread my notes: it’ll have been 20 months since the last sequel came out when this is released. But surely the point still stands.

This’ll also be the first time a Chucky film isn’t written and directed by Don Mancini.

I’m sorry, does the trailer have any spoilers for the upcoming Child’s Play tv series?

Don Mancini wrote all of the films, but didn't start directing them until Seed Of Chucky in 2004. The first four films were directed by Todd Holland, Jon Lafia, Jack Bender, & Ronny Yu.

Oh yeah, that's right. I should've said it's the first one he's not involved with.

I know it made gazillion dollars and countless costumes but do we really need another one? File next to Toy Story 4 in the unnecessary animated sequel (to decent/great movies)

New Matthew Barney. I'd like to say that this is among my most anticipated films this year but that would suggest that I'll ever actually be able to see it.

Did River of Fundament ever get pirated and make its way to the back channels?

If it has I never found it, at least I have the memory of seeing it once...

Thanks for sharing that John Cope, I am definitely making plans to go to New Haven to see this, as an added bonus - I’ll be in the greatest pizza city in the world.
