Surprised that no one has mentioned Hurt's performance in Scandal, one of his greatest roles.

That's a film I've still not managed to see, although of course I'm familiar with the Dusty Springfield and Pet Shop Boys single that accompanied the film!

Lesser-known role, as the impresario/manager in McCartney's Take It Away video. In the Tug of War deluxe edition book, Hurt said he had a great time doing this and was definitely playing Epstein.

He's featured also in a short documentary on the making of the song, from which a teaser was released online.
