OOP Indicator

Christine and Body Double are now officially OOP - in that you can't order them from Powerhouse directly any more, but there may still be copies floating around retailers.

10 Rillington Place is likely to be the next.

Second-edition BD-only releases (i.e. same disc, complete with extras, but no DVD or booklet) should emerge shortly.

Do you or anyone else remember the print run for those? I'm surprised they took so long to go OOP, but they were also competing with TT's existent releases beating them to the market

5,000 apiece, I think.

I grabbed Christine from them about two weeks ago, so I must have had one of the very last copies. Oddly enough I bought it because I'd picked up Body Double in my local HMV the week earlier and thought it was such a lovely set I wanted to get Christine too.

I actually just ordered a copy of Christine from them directly last week but never received an email confirmation and don't see any way to look up an order status on their website. I wonder if I'm out of luck on this one.

Email info@powerhousefilms.co.uk - they have the reputation for some of the best customer service in the business.

Is that the same as filling out the "Contact" form on their website? I already did that but wouldn't necessarily expect a response over the weekend.

It is the same. If the product was available to purchase and your order went through, it should be fine.

Cool, thanks to you both. Paypal does at least show that my order went through. I wonder if I got the last copy. Image

I will say that my copy of Christine was delivered in about 2 days, so if yours has taken over a week I'd definitely chase it up.

Are you in the UK though?

Yeah, late night here and my brain switched off the possibility that you were outside the UK. Sorry about that.

Here's hoping I wasn't too late snagging Body Double from Amazon (though the 1-2 month expectancy for stock doesn't bode well).

Hoping not to sound too smug, do try to get your hands on it. Its an outstanding edition. My major hope is that Indicator gets their hands on Local Hero. No idea if the licensing matches up for it though.

Next to go OOP after this looks likely to be HARDCORE, which is selling briskly: powerhousefilms.co.uk/product/hardcore-dfe
Also shifting at pace: THE SINBAD TRILOGY and pre-orders on The Wonderful Worlds of Ray Harryhausen VOL 1 and VOL 2, and HAMMER VOL 1. powerhousefilms.co.uk

Yikes, even their preorders are on the verge of selling out?

Just selling briskly - I expect Sinbad was a little slow to start because some were holding off in case the issue would be corrected but going off the included unit #s people shared to Indicator's FB and Twitter it seemed like they'd reached about halfway through the run when it first released. If it were actually anywhere near on track to sell out before release they'd surely be happy to give us the heads-up.

I don't know how much it means but I may as well note that I picked up the Sinbad set a couple of weeks ago through Amazon.co.uk and it was numbered 3824 of 6000.

(To keep with the theme, googling Sinbad brings the comedian up first rather than the sailor!)

Powerhouse is now down to their last 90 copies of 10 Rillington Place - so if you want the original limited edition, get it now.

After that, Hardcore is likely to be the next title to go OOP.

You just reminded me I ordered that nearly a month ago but it hasn't turned up yet. I better get onto that asap in case I miss out.

Do they mention it somewhere when a title is close to being OOP?
I don't see anything in facebook.

Michael is a reliable source on this matter, and this message board is as good a place as any to get that information.

As soon as there’s an announcement about stock levels anywhere on social media, I’ll post it here.

And the upcoming Jack Nicholson titles do not include existing/announced ones.

Non-limited editions of Hardcore and The New Centurions will be released on March 19.

As before, these will contain exactly the same Blu-ray disc as was in the LE (extras and all), but won't include the DVD or booklet.

The titles most likely to go OOP next are Bunny Lake Is Missing, Mickey One, The Stone Killer and The Sinbad Trilogy.
