I'd be stoked beyond measure if Criterion or Fox gave Midnight Cowboy the treatment it deserves. Same goes for Red River and Night of the Hunter.

Someone needs to release both versions of Red River. This could make a great Criterion Release.

I'm thinking that now it might be possible for Criterion to release Rohmer's Comedies & Proverbs series, seeing that a few of the titles were originally MGM releases.
