Rayon Vert -- yes, one of the interesting results for me was learning that three movies I had got the impression were unpopular -- Milky Way, Death in the Garden, and Diary of a Chambermaid -- are in fact much better regarded.

Thanks Dom for organizing, and thanks again to Rayon and others who shared information about where to find some of the films.

Blowing up your own film is the greater catastrophe.
Not in real terms.

Depends on the terms.

-Blowing up the actual earth vs destroying some celluloid, no.

-Blowing up the earth vs destroying all of reality, yes, very much so.

I probably don't need to point out which one I was talking about.

As much as I love Buñuel, the highlight of the project for me turns out to be Andrea Arnold's Wuthering Heights. Holy fuck.

I completely forgot about this list entirely, my list would have been:

1. Los Olvidados
2. Un Chien Andalou
3. L’Age d’Or
4. The Exterminating Angel
5. Belle De Jour
6. The Milky Way
7. Simon of the Desert
8. That Obscure Object of Desire
9. Phantom of Liberty
10. Tristana

I've seen Viridiana and Discreet Charm about fifteen years ago as well, but I barely remember them.
