I have yet to see a month when I would be thrilled for more than one Criterion title.

If this would be it, I would be thrilled for 3!

Oscilloscope gave a great release of a remastered River of Grass only a few years ago, so a release by Criterion may be unlikely.

I've seen the Wong Kar Wai box guessed a few times, sort of like the Hughes box. Will this end up being like the "Classic Hitchcock" box where individual titles are released, then a box comes? What films do people think will come with either of these potential boxes?

I’d guess Days of Being Wild, Fallen Angels, Happy Together, 2046, and then the previously released In the Mood For Love and Chungking Express.

I’m no longer convinced we’ll see a box set and instead see individual releases. But I’d love to be wrong.

Criterion didn’t pay for a new resto of In the Mood for Love or reacquire Chungking Express for nothing. These two things are the argument for the box set, not just that they have a cache of other titles that could be bundled together.

Well it's been forever since we got a Chaplin so I'm guessing:

First National Films (which I feel like the Chaplin estate may force Criterion to release as The Chaplin Revue)

And also, I just sold my AK100 box set on eBay, so I'm hoping for:

Madadayo (this IS going to get a spine eventually, right??)

Also:

Silence of the Lambs
Night of the Living Dead
Bringing Up Baby
