Final copies arrived late, on Friday. It's finished, but will take a few extra days to reach to suppliers. Sorry for the delay.

So I suppose we can expect reviews to surface early this week?

Any reviews in the next week will be from final checkdiscs only. We only received finished product, with box, sleeves, booklets, etc on Friday.

The three booklets are really nice.

It's probably a final dastardly plot from the infernal Doctor to cause despair in film-lovers impatiently waiting for this one (myself among them).

Hm Amazon.co.uk finally reflects the change in dispatch due to the delay. The dispatch estimate is now October 27-30, while delivery is estimated at October 29-November 5 :( Unless of course it gets sorted out sooner (keeping my fingers crossed on this).

Its noted in the Mabuse boxset that it would be delayed since the final discs arrived later than expected, thus it would also arrive later to the suppliers than originally intended. As for Phantom not sure about that, whether its also been delayed slightly due to the discs arriving later than expected.

Amazon is great in that they treat their estimates as just that: estimates. The moment they get new supply, they begin shipping it, even if it's way sooner than they originally inform you that it will be. So I wouldn't fret if I were you.

Well my set arrived today, somewhat I now have to fight customs over this seeing as they arbitrarily decided to slap customs charges amounting to roughly Twenty GBP if I convert it(yes arbitrarily the system is that bad) so my set is delayed. I want to rip the customs officer apart if they do intend to stick to charging me, I wonder if I'll get to watch this set

If you don't pay the customs duty you won't get it, simple as that.

because they turned out to be the cheapest, most of the time ship stuff well before the official release date (just not this time) and (most important) the orders within 2 or 3 days from the UK (I live in The Netherlands so that`s pretty damn quick).

Did anyone order Sunrise from CDWOW? I pre ordered mine from them and have now received two emails apologizing for the delay even though their website says it will be dispatched in 24 hours.

I sent them an email and they responded today and told me it was dispatched earlier. Then I received a dispatch confirmation.

That's bad luck. I preordered a month before release date on Amazon.co.uk and received it in Australia six days (or less) after release. I also recently ordered other things from CDWOW and they arived i timely fashion; so sounds like you guys were definitely just unlucky.

Amazon is pretty slow this time around with my Mabuse box set.

I live in Canada but usually it only takes about 5 days. I suppose I'll get it tomorrow or tuesday.

I live in Canada as well and received my Mabuse boxset on the 29th and it was shipped in a bulk order via UPS on the 26th in which I had to pay H.S.T./C.O.D. Serves me right for having such a large order instead of my usually modest shipments in the past. *grumble grumble*
