Je t'aime je t'aime has no subtitles. Most of their DVDs don't, although one of the Jean Rouch box has English subtitles, and Eugene Gree Le Pont des arts also has subs.

That's what I thought. Shame.

Anyone have any experience with this French label? I'm looking to buy Crazy Horse and a couple of their Jean Rouch releases, but I can't find any information about english subtitles. The only Jean Rouch dvd to outright say it has english subtitles is Cocorico Monsieur Poulet. I would hope that if they include it on one of his films then they would include it on all of them. If not, any other suggestions to get these films? Thanks.

Bumping this, as I am wondering about the same.

I have bought a handful of DVDs from EM, and those in a foreign language have all had
English subs on them. Their RKO stuff does not.

I have the 2 Rouch box sets and I'm pretty sure (I'm not at home now to check for certain) they do not have any English subs.

I was told they didn't have the rights to add English subs to the Rouch sets. Same with the Straub-Huillet sets. Most unfortunate, especially since it's pretty much guaranteed that nobody in the USA is going to release all these things.

The latest Straub Huillet set volume 7 is out from EM. It's almost half price from Amazon.it

Unfortunatly Frederick Wiseman's Crazy Horse doesn't have English subs (to answer a question asked almost a year ago).

There are no French subs either except for a few very brief scenes with English audio (including some English song lyrics).
