Restored Early Pedro Almodovar Films Prepped for Blu-ray
French distributors TF1 are set to introduce on the worldwide market restored 2K DCP copies of twelve early films directed by acclaimed Spanish filmmaker Pedro Almodovar.
Amongst them are Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, The Flower of My Secret, High Heels, Kika, and Law of Desire.

TF1 are also planning Blu-ray and DVD releases of the restored films.

Nils Hoffet, s.v.p., operations, TF1 DA, said: "We hope for some theatrical re-releases and certainly DVD/Blu-ray re-issues on many titles. Many distributors -- who often handled the original features -- are waiting for the restorations. It will be a real Almodovar event."

Additionally, TF1 are finalizing and planning to introduce a new 4K restoration of Christian-Jaque's classic film The Black Tulip (1964) with Alain Delon, as we well as a new 2K restoration of Luchino Visconti's Rocco and His Brothers (1960).
