Would the Rimini edition have Beat the Devil have forced French subtitles?

According to this post subs are optional (and apparently include English as well).

Somewhere in the Night also had optional subs.

Anyone have Rimini Editions' Blu-ray of Rouben Mamoulian's Les Carrefours de la Ville (aka City Streets) starring Gary Cooper? Wondering what the quality's like. (The Amazon.fr reviews don't say much, but it sounds like there's no French subtitles which is odd.)

Also, is their Blu-ray of Billy Wilder's Avanti! an improvement over the previous one by Plaion Pictures?
